Paris Olympics Day 15- Catch the highlights and updates as India ended its campaign with 6 medals.

India’s medal number dipped at Paris with the misfortune of no gold. Shooting fetched three medals; in Wrestling Aman Shehrawat won the lone bronze, Neeraj Chopra and Men’s Hockey Team secured silver and bronze and there were six 4th place finishes.

On the last day of India’s competition, wrestler Reetika Hooda was defeated in the quarterfinal to Alperi Medet of Kyrgyzstan. Although the match ended in a 1-1 tie, Medet went through as she got the last point.

On the Paris Olympics Day 15, the CAS were expected to announce their verdict on Vinesh Phogat’s joint-silver medal verdict. But the decission was further deferred to August 13.

The United States Women’s Football team the Men’s Basketball team both won gold on Paris Olympic Day 15.

American Masai Russell won the Women’s 100m Hurdles final, followed by the U.S. teams winning both the Men’s and Women’s 4x400m relays.

New Zealand’s Lydia Ko won gold in Women’s Golf tournament  after she won a silver at Rio 2016 and a bronze at Tokyo 2020.
