Saina Nehwal and Kidambi Srikanth climbed up in world ranking in the latest BWF ranking that released after the conclusion of World Badminton Championship. Saina jumped four places to be placed at the 12th spot after her bronze medal performance in he Wprld Championship while Kidambi Srikanth moved to 8th place, two spots better from his previous ranking. Kidambi finished in the quarterfinal in the World Championship.
PV Sindhu, World Championship silver medallist, however remained static at 4th position.
A former World No. 1 Saina Nehwal had slipped to the 16th spot after her injury. But a good showing at Glasgow helped her inch closer to the top-10 again in women’s singles.
