The El Clasico of PKL lives up to all expectations
The El Clásico of PKL did not disappoint as Jaipur Pink Panthers and U Mumba battled to a 38–38 draw, forcing a tie-breaker.
Nitin Kumar starred for Jaipur with a Super 10, driving a spectacular comeback after U Mumba had taken the lead with crucial all-outs.
In the tie-breaker, Jaipur held their nerve to secure a 6–4 win, with Nitin Kumar’s brilliance proving decisive in the thrilling finish.
The Chennai leg of PKL 12 starts
After the successful Vizag and Jaipur legs, PKL 12 moved to Chennai. The leg is scheduled from September 29 to October 10, featuring multiple high-stakes matches across all 12 teams.

Pink Panthers’ mammoth 17 points in the final quarter
Jaipur Pink Panthers completed a remarkable turnaround to clinch a thrilling 37-36 victory against Haryana Steelers. The Steelers had a lead of ten points at one stage, but the Narender Redhu-led Pink Panthers roared back to register 17 points in the final quarter to win the match.
The tussle was extreme in the final 10-minutes when the Steelers were clinging on with the score at 30-26. Sahil Satpal, with a two-point raid with under a minute to go, cut the deficit down to a point.
The Steelers were trying to kill the remaining time but Nitin Rawal executed an ALL OUT on the defending champions to give them a one-point lead.
In the final raid of the game, Vinay managed to register a bonus point before being tackled by Deepanshu to give the two-time champions a thrilling comeback win in the final minute of the match.
Puneri Paltan moves to the top of the points table
Puneri Paltan and Bengaluru Bulls played their second tiebreaker after the two sides were locked at 29-29. However, the Paltan held their composure in the tie-breaker to defeat the Bulls 6-4.
Pankaj Mohite and Aditya Shinde set the tone with early raids, while Gaurav Khatri and Abinesh Nadarajan kept the defense tight. This was the second time that the Paltan beat the Bulls in a tie-breaker in PKL Season 12 that took them to the top of the points table.
