Indian basketball captain Amritpal Singh is formally invited by Sydney Kings to play for them in Atlas Challenge 2017. Amritpal has impressed the Australian National Basketball League (NBL) Draft Combine held in April this year. Amritpal is the first Indian-born player to play for an Australian team and is the best opportunity for Singh to prove himself. The Atlas Challenge will be played from 16th to 25th July 2017 in Suzhou, China. The Sydney Kings will evaluate prospective players who may make the Sydney Kings roster at a later stage.
