India’s opening batter Smriti Mandhana started from where she left against England and put up a brilliant score of 106*to lead India to a 7-wicket win over West Indies in their 2nd World Cup group match in Taunton. Captain Mithali Raj supported her with a patient 46. Earlier, Indian spinners performed superbly to restrict West Indies to 183 runs in 8 wickets from their 50 overs. Deepti Sharma, Poonam Yadav and Harmanpreet Kaur took 2 wickets each while Ekta Bisht bagged 1 wicket.
