Karamjyoti Dalal wins third medal for India in World Para Athletics

Discuss thrower Karamjyoti Dalal claimed a Bronze medal in the Women’s F55 category in c. Dalal, at the last moment, managed a throw of 19.02m, her best of the season. She overcame Baharain’s Alomari Roba, who managed 19.01m. Dalal is the first woman para athlete from India to win in World Para Athletics Championship.

This is India’s 3rd medal in the competition. Earlier Sundar Singh Gurjar and Amit Saroha had won a gold and silver medal respectively.

Poulomi directs promotional videos, develops scripts for films for Corporate and NGOs. But an ardent sports lover, Poulomi always had an urge to contribute somewhere in the field of sports. Her love for sports started from an early age when she played gully cricket and football for local teams. Academics and professional hazards sometimes took her away from her passion, but it never died in her. She always nurtured the never-ending dream.
