Chhetri seals India’s victory over Kyrgyz Republic

In a fast-pace Asian Cup qualifier match, India’s Mr Dependable Sunil Chhetri scored the match-winning goal to surpass Kyrgyz Republic. This was Chhetri’s 54th goal in his 94th match for the national team. India who had beaten Myanmar 1-0 in their first match of the qualifiers, notched up their 7th international win on the trot. With this win, India sit atop the group with six points. The Asian Cup will be played in 2019 in United Arab Emirates.
