Messi wins 500 games for FC Barcelona; enters history book again

Lionel Messi has become the first player to record 500 wins in the history of Spanish Club Football. He reached this record when FC Barcelo had a 5-0 victory against Leganés in the Copa del Rey at Camp Nou. Messi is now at the top  of the ranking of wins, ahead of second placed Xavi Hernández  who has 476 wins and Andrés Iniesta with 459 wins.

Leo Messi scored twice as Barcelona advanced to the quarterfinals after their surprise La Liga loss at Valencia. Messi took 710 games to register this number of wins in Barca Football.

On 16 October 2004 Leo Messi claimed his first win as a Barça player against Espanyol. Since then he has managed victory against all Spanish club except UDA Gramanet. The ‘FC Barcelona Messi‘ has been on the winning side against 86 different teams.
