HS Prannoy continues to spring surprises as he went past Olympic medallist and World No 8 Cheng Long of China 21-18, 16-21,21-19 to enter into the semifinal of Indonesia Open Super Series Premier. Kidambi Srikant also made it to the semifinals with a straight set 21-15, 21-14 victory over Tzu Wei Wang of Chinese Taipei. In the semifinals, Prannoy will face Japanese Kazumasa Sakai while Srikant will be up against Korean World No 1 Wan Ho Son.
